Reproduction Color Change  is a nice gift set that includes the Midnight Color Magic Barbie in her original swimsuit and headband and the Color Magic ensemble Bloom Bursts.  It also includes replicas of the color changing formulas and tools (these don't really work.)

These dolls are still fairly easy to find at the release, or even a discounted price.  Many collectors buy them for deboxing to use the doll to display vintage fashions, and the dolls can be purchased alone for that purpose.

Nice doll, as long as you know in advance that the hair & outfit do not change colour like the vintage ones do.


This outstanding release brings back the fondly-remembered 1966 "Color Magic" Barbie. But, unlike the original doll, this repro isn't capable of the colour change function (mainly because the original dolls were notorious for oxidizing over the years, causing their hair to become brittle and fall out).

My 2 Granddaughters, 5 and 7, Love this barbie house so much that they even have one at their mom's house! It is a bargain for all of the rooms that it has! Well worth it!

My 3 year old loves this and while it is not the sturdiest toy it can easily withstand her playing with it. It comes with a lot of furniture and accessories for the price. Barbie Doll is fairly easy for a parent to fold it up and take it along to play somewhere. She could definitely not do that herself.

For a surprisingly low price, my daughters were able to set up a Barbie house with furniture and decorative additions that they will enjoy for quite a long time. Yet, when we need their bedroom to look immaculate, this toy can easily be packed away. It's large enough to satisfy my seven year-olds whose friends have the three story wooden versions.

This Barbie is beautiful! I haven't had any issues at all with her. My daughter has been playing with her non stop since yesterday. The hair is sleek and beautifully soft. Her tail is cool and it's even cooler that it turns into an outfit easily. This Barbie is a must have for any Barbie loving child.

My young daughter loves this mermaid barbie and plays with it every night during bathtime. The barbie's hair and tattoos change with temperature and her 'tail' can convert to a hooded jacket/outfit. We have fortunately not encountered any defects. We are in the process of trying to get all the mermaids for bathtime.

My daughter loves this doll, but be prepared to hear her singing in the middle of the night. It is incredible how loud this doll can get when the house is quiet.

Alexa doll has the prettiest singing voice out of the two barbies. Her dress sinches in the back to create a dark blue skirt. Unlike the Liana doll, her legs are normal barbie legs and is a normal barbie. Heart glitters when she sings, also when you push an extra button on her back. To make her sing, press her hand. I bought both barbies and it is really fun when they sing together, but if you can only choose one, choose Alexa.
She is by far the prettiest in looks and sining, dress is removable, and has more "special touches" than Liana.

I got both Princess Liana and Alexa for my daughter's 3rd birthday. Both of my girls ages 3 & 5 1/2 fight over Alexa. Her dress is beutiful and easy to change looks. The songs she sings are beautiful as well. She sings together with the Liana doll, very neat. Her dress comes off, which Liana's does not and it was quite upsetting to my daughter. One thing I really like about it is that her necklace is permanately attached, not one more thing to lose. Note, she does not come with the prince pictured.

Happy New Year everyone..OK,I purchase Holiday Barbie for my daughter every year.Without giving up my age(NO way)..I will tell you that she collects them.There is no dress up,playin with the hair,we are way past that.The doll is gorgeous for collecting.
If my daughter were 6,just by looking at the doll.. I'd know its not for changing clothes,or any of that little girl play stuff.So buy it..admire it,just keep it in the box, wait till your child is old enough not to want to tear it apart and understand to appreciate her for her beauty. ..Like a handkerchief,for showing..not for blowing!I want to thank Amazon again for offering it at almost half store price,and sending the order so quickly.

I do recommend this for a collector, I do not recommend it for a child. First the dress cannot be shared with any modern barbie- it is too narrow, it does fit vintage barbies. The dress is NOT at all durable, in fact I am glueing it back together as I type. This Barbie is hard to dress for a child because of its bent arm. This is a beautiful Barbie, but being hard to dress and the fabric not lasting 7 days it is disappointing. I wish this was not sold by the toys and not marketed as a toy.

First I would like to say that this set is very cute and my daughter loved it,very nice.Now with that out of the way,I bought it in store for less than half the price here,Don't pay the $[...] for it here.If you look around you will find a much better deal.All 3 dolls are very cute and nice looking,great for the price I paid.It also comes with some really cute accessories like,2 pair of arm floaties that you just slide on,2 pair of goggles(so cute on the dolls!),a floatie,a body board that has slots too hold the Kelly's hands in. Barbie even has a whistle and of course the small kiddie pool.One thing I don't get about the toy is you can connect either the floatie or the body board to the side of the pool and move it along like they are swimming but you can only move it from inside by pushing the doll,you can do that without the little attatchment. Barbie Doll would have been better if there were a little lever on the outside of the pool that you could move the doll along with.But still for what you get it is very nice and we are very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this toy for my 6 year old daughter. She really likes having both the barbie swim teacher, and students in the same toy, as well as the realistic pieces that came with it - like the sunscreen, the goggles, and the whistle.

She also loves playing with it in the bathtub....great toy, she loves Barbie
