well i have been collecting barbies since i was little and then when i turned about 16 my parents and grandparents and family started getting me into the collectors barie dolls so when i saw this one had to have it. it is like all the barbies i own combined together on her dress it is a wonderful babrie comes in a pretty package and came just the way the picture looks wonderful product.

I really wanted to like this one. I mean her dress is great and the concept is also great and in the promo pics her face doesnt look that bad either. But in the package, she doesnt look good at all. As someone pointed out before, her hair is all flattened on top, looks greasy and honestly, her face with those elongated cheekbones looks kinda skanky actually. They should have called her the "generations of dream plastic surgery dolls" or something. She doesnt look beautiful at all. Skip this one.

She is astonishing as always! i can't believe the price has doubled and she hasn't been out a year yet!

Glad i got her when i did. I was iffy about the $50 price, but now i know that was a bargain. Something to cherish and love and hand down to your children (when they're old enough of course lol)

I purchased this item for a collector friend as a gift, shipping was pretty prompt, I left it in the shipping box and gave it as a gift, when it was opened we were disappointed by the condition, mostly it was the collector box it stands in, it was worn and scraped all over & ruined the effect. the doll looked ok but a little out of place. I wrote to the shipper but just got a snotty reply like I was the bad guy. We still have the doll as we were afraid to ship it back as the seller made it sound difficult with no promises so figured if we did it would be the last we saw of it or my money. In all my orders with Amazon,(allot) this is the first time I feel I got taken.

Doll is cheaply made. They seemed to put more emphasis on the box and dress. Don't open it, they seem to be gaining in value. Purchase as a keepsake or part of a collection.

I have over 20 Barbie dolls, and this doll is one of them. She comes with a cute little cat, a mirror, a perfume bottle for when Anneliese needs to smell extra pretty, and a hairbrush. She even comes to you with a minty smell in her hair. I think she is one of the best dolls ever! She is durable, beautiful, royal, and for every girl around the world!! My daughter received this Barbie doll for Christmas along with Erica two years ago and both dolls are still going strong. They both have voice tracks which are still working, they are both in great shape, even though their hair and gowns have taken a beating. Unfortunately after two years of changing and exchanging gowns, the bodices are now ripping apart (They have already been sewn once). The loss of the gowns are the reason the rating is 4 stars instead of five. Aside from that, it is one of the nicest, if not THE nicest of their video tie-in products.

 "Just bought Erika at a yard sale..."

Paid 50c for her and 50c for a generic knockoff doll who was wearing her original dress ! I am amazed at how lovely this doll is - she still sings beautifully, and her dress has only a minor tear in the tulle on the left elbow, and some slight Velcro snagging in the back. Her hair was still mostly in the factory set, and brushed out, waved prettily down her back. The hair is high-quality - not that cotton-candy-like stuff - and her facial screening is as fresh as spring.

For a doll to survive a child's attentions and end up in a yard sale - and still be gorgeous enough with five minutes of hairbrushing and redressing that I researched her original look... not many dolls retain their beauty (much less their batteries !) through all that. She'll have a place of honor in this 41-year-old's collection ! I heartily recommend this stunning doll - especially if you can find her for pocket change at a yard sale !

The doll itself is wonderful. The hair has matted less than the other barbies we have. The batteries *still* haven't died (10 months later!)


The dress, though. The dress has fallen apart. It wasn't even played with that much, as it was taken off almost immediately so the girls could get to the button on the back to play the song over (and over and over). The dress is falling apart at the seams.

We also hunted down the wedding set, and the white wedding dress is doing the same thing. So, don't buy the doll for the dress!

odette from swan lake to be to be the the princess and i used ken from the cali girl collection and dress him in juilans outfit. well any way erikas two songs don't get annoying at all she sings im just like you and the cats mewow. i tollaley recamed this doll .
